Ngl, counting principles is probably one of the hardest things in the course, mostly because its not really related to anything else and the IBO generally asks some very hard questions about it which require strong reasoning and logic skills. The maths you'll do at uni as an economics student will be much more difficult than any level of IB maths. Business, not so much. In conclusion, maths AA HL is quite difficult, but with some basic natural ability and a lot of effort, it shouldn't be an issue.
